Florida Atlantic’s football team picked up its first commitment for the 2019 recruiting class Wednesday night when Dothan Northview (Ala.) wide receiver Da’Shawn Owens picked the Owls.
On Twitter, Owens announced his choice by posting a 32-second video that featured his highlights and FAU’s logo. The 6-foot-3, 207-pounder also claimed offers from Troy, Southern Miss, Bowling Green and Memphis.
He was not ranked by 247 Sports. His highlights are below.
FAU has two commitments in its 2018 recruiting class: Ocala Vanguard cornerback Dabarre Jenkins and Miami Northwestern athlete Chatarius “Tutu” Atwell.
