Florida Atlantic quarterback De’Andre Johnson was a limited participant in Wednesday morning’s practice, the 18th of preseason camp for the Owls.
Johnson has battled an undisclosed injury this week and has not fully participated in a practice since Saturday’s scrimmage. On Monday, FAU coach Lane Kiffin said Johnson was “day-to-day.” On Wednesday, Johnson said he was “getting better.”
“Just been going hard for a little while now,” Johnson said. “My body’s catching up to me. I’m going to be all right, though.”
Johnson received one series during the team portion of practice Wednesday morning, but was not involved in the practice-ending 11-on-11s.
