FC Dallas went into Los Angeles off of an incredibly 5 goal comeback against CD Suchitepequez. Legs had to be tired. Emotions were high. All they needed was a draw, any sort of draw, 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, whatever. Even if Colorado won their game against Houston (which they didn't), FC Dallas would have still claimed the Shield anyway. It was a great position to be in, but it meant that the team had to go into this one with the right kind of balance.
