Saturday night's match was a milestone for FC Dallas midfielder Victor Ulloa. The start in FCD's 6-2 victory over Real Salt Lake was the Homegrown Player's 100th regular-season MLS appearance.
Ulloa, a Wylie native, marked it not only with a solid day in central defense but with a gorgeous assist during FCD's five-goal first half. After finding Maxi Urruti from midfield with a through ball, the forward simply had to run onto the ball and apply the finish.
"We were clicking," Ulloa said after the game at Toyota Stadium. "We were anxious to get on the field.
