In baseball, they say you can't win the division in the first month of the season, but you can lose it. In MLS, there is a little more flexibility, but there are now enough teams that if you start poorly and don't show some intestinal fortitude to change your station, you can get buried behind too many teams, so credit to those who found a way to get off the ground and fight back.
