Another day, another signing.
The Oklahoma City Energy FC has continued strengthening their squad for the 2017 season by re-signing midfielder Luis Martinez.
The Mexican native appeared in eleven matches for Oklahoma City in the 2016 regular season, scoring one goal in 199 minutes played. Martinez made one appearance in the Energy’s postseason, where he checked in as a substitute for six minutes in OKC’s 3-2 win against the Rio Grand Valley FC in the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
Oklahoma City Energy FC head coach Jimmy Nielsen commented on the re-signing, praising the 26-year-old’s professional attitude in the locker room.
