The Oklahoma City Energy FC has announced that midfielder Daniel Gonzalez has re-signed with the club for the upcoming 2017 USL season.
In two years, the 24-year-old Washington native has played a total of 50 matches for the USL side, scoring four goals and providing three assists at the midfield position.
Energy FC head coach Jimmy Nielsen commented on the resigning, stating that he has high expectations for the Mexican-American professional.
“Gonzalez is one of the most versatile players on the team,” remarked Nielsen. “We always know that he can perform at any position we ask him to play.
