The 2017 MLS SuperDraft is finally in the books as teams completed their third and fourth round selections Tuesday via conference call. FC Dallas selected four more players in the draft including a former academy product.
FCD had three selections in the third round alone starting out with the ninth pick where they selected defender Austin Ledbetter from SIUE. Ledbetter started all 22 games this past season, where he scored six goals and was named the MVC Player of the Year.
With the 15th pick in the third round, FC Dallas picked up defender/midfielder Dakota Barnathan from Virginia Commonwealth University.
