On September 27, 2015, scandal struck the Fantasy world. A DraftKings employee mistakenly released data from their Millionaire Maker contest, which is their largest and most high-profile contest. The data showed the percentage owned of all the players in the contest. This came out well before the four o’clock games and is considered a huge advantage to those with the data. This would un-level the playing field.
