Young Evertonian and art enthusiast Zak Walton was recently invited to USM Finch Farm to meet his Blues hero Seamus Coleman, as well as take part in a design masterclass with Marvel Comics artist Will Sliney.
Ten-year-old Zak’s experience was part of the USM ‘Unlock the Potential’ campaign and his day kicked off with a special meet-and-greet with Toffees ace Coleman, who gave him a bag of art goodies.
Zak was then set the challenge of capturing Seamus in art form under the guidance of lifelong Evertonian Sliney.
Zak was nominated for the special experience by his teacher, Ms Hilbert, for his dedication and enthusiasm in setting up his school as one of Everton's Junior School Supporters’ Clubs, supporting his teachers in organising and attending meetings, as well as encouraging younger pupils to get involved and attend their first Toffees matches.
