Nikola Vlasic admits he was bowled over by “perfect” Goodison Park during Hajduk Split’s recent trip in the UEFA Europa League - and says he cannot wait to step out at the stadium again as an Everton player.
The 19-year-old forward completed his move to Merseyside on transfer deadline day, just a fortnight after playing against the Toffees at Goodison in the first leg of the Europa League play-off and seven days after featuring in the return leg at Hajduk’s Stadion Poljud.
And the Croatia international, who made his first appearance for his country in a 2-1 friendly win over Mexico in Los Angeles in May, says it was the “passion” of supporters at the Grand Old Lady that made the greatest impression.
