Morgan Schneiderlin has promised Evertonians they can expect even more from him next season.
The midfielder has become a firm fans’ favourite since arriving from Manchester United in January, and helped the Blues secure a top-seven Premier League finish and Europa League qualification last term.
Of the 14 games in which Schneiderlin appeared, Ronald Koeman’s men won nine and suffered defeat just twice - away at Tottenham Hotspur and away at Arsenal.
Despite his form, the 27-year-old was left out of the France squad for their World Cup qualifier against Sweden and Tuesday’s friendly against England, and he hopes a prolonged summer rest will help him make an even bigger impact in his first full campaign on Merseyside.
