Romelu Lukaku equals Everton goal-scoring record but Ronald Koeman insists striker can get better

Romelu Lukaku took his goal tally to eight in five matches at Goodison Park as he equalled Duncan Ferguson’s Premier League record for Everton, but manager Ronald Koeman is still looking for improvement from the Belgian striker.

Lukaku finished a barnstorming run from the halfway line to complete a 2-0 win against Sunderland.

It was his 60th Premier League goal for the club having hit four against Bournemouth in his previous home game and took his tally to 23 this season, 17 of them in the league, leaving him level with Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.
