Everton in the Community Disability Ambassador Seamus Coleman invited the Blues’ Amputee team to USM Finch Farm recently after the side were crowned league champions for the second successive season.
Led by EitC Disability Manager and former World Amputee Footballer of the Year Steve Johnson, the team - EAFA Irwin Mitchell League victors - arrived at the first-team training facility for a coaching session and were joined by Coleman and some of his Toffees teammates, including Cenk Tosun, Cuco Martina and Tom Davies.
Defender Coleman was keen to hear from the men about their league success and find out more about amputee football and its growing popularity worldwide.
