EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Away from competition since October, the University of Evansville men's and women's golf teams return to competition at the Alabama State Spring Kickoff on Monday and Tuesday to open their spring season at Lagoon Park Golf Course in Montgomery, Ala.
The Aces' men's team earned three top-10 finishes during the fall season, including a best finish of fourth at the Northern Kentucky Collegiate Classic on Sept. 23 and 24. On the women's side, Evansville closed a strong fall campaign with an impressive performance in its penultimate tournament. Competing at the Chi-Town/Ted Rhodes Fall Invite, the Aces shot a team score of 620 to win the tournament, while senior Sydney Anderson earned the individual championship with a 36-hole score of 151, including a tournament best even-par 72 in the opening round.
