The Edmonton Oilers off-season is long. Too long, in fact, that some of us are losing our minds without hockey. Some of us may be coping day-to-day by distracting ourselves with work, video games or television. However, we like to spend the offseason doing something a bit different.
We introduced our Penalty Box Book Club last year, which is a summer club where we recommend hockey books that can not only get us through these slower months, but also help us raise awareness about how important reading is, and how many are not fortunate enough to share the gift of reading.
