He finished with two assists, but also helped ignite the offence. He was reunited with Connor McDavid, and with him, he showed his worth and potential. On the power play, he made quality passes and acted as a playmaker, and also helped Mark Letestu pull the Oilers within one goal.
His biggest moment came in the overtime period, where he made an outstanding dish pass to David Desharnais, who put it home for the OT winner. That in itself caps off how good of a passer Draisaitl is, and how he is able to carry his line.
In addition to his performance, Draisaitl also gave an exceptional effort and showed unrelenting determination through each shift.
