The Edmonton Oilers came into the offseason needing to make some improvements, especially when it came to the blue line. General Manager Peter Chiarelli made a risky move to do just this, trading away Taylor Hall in exchange for Adam Larsson.
However, this is the perfect upgrade for the Oilers, because now, with him and Klefbom as potential linemates, everything just got a lot Sweder. Yes, how Swede it is, because now these two country mates will make the perfect pair.

It’s no question that the Oilers’ blue line looks a lot better than it did at this point in time last season, and though some worry that Edmonton’s blue line is not fully upgraded, it has improved where it matters the most: on the top four.
