The Edmonton Oilers may have not made a move for a while, but they still have a lot of time left to ponder their next signing or trade. With the offseason halfway over, and with the Oilers only adding Adam Larsson to upgrade their defensive corps, many ask if this is it for Edmonton.
Well, if the season started today, the team would surely look a lot better than it did at this point in time last season. Bob Stauffer has mentioned that Edmonton could make final finishing touches to the defensive corps with some PTO contracts. However, there is still the Tyson Barrie arbitration hearing, but as far as the Oilers are concerned, it’s not too likely that he gets dealt.
