The Eastern Michigan volleyball (6-9) took on a pair of Mid-American Conference opponents on the road this weekend.
To kick off the set on Friday, the Eagles headed down to Ohio with a matchup with the Toledo Rockets (8-6). The Rockets came into the matchup with a 7-5 out of conference record, which was two games better than EMU. Despite being behind in record when entering the match the Eagles were able to take the match in five sets.
Even after dropping the first and fourth sets the Eagles were able to muster past the rockets behind a strong offensive performance by junior Samantha Falco, who lead the way by delivering 11 kills throughout the match.
