Soccer's Comeback Comes up Short at Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team's comeback came up short at Western Michigan University Sunday, Oct. 14, at the WMU Soccer Complex. Trailing by one at the half, Eastern (8-9-0, 3-5-0 MAC) even the score in the 52nd minute but were downed, 2-1, on an 81st minute strike by Western (11-5-0, 5-3-0 MAC).

Sophomore Parys Kerr (Whitby, Ontario-Pickering) tallied EMU's lone goal, while redshirt junior Kristin Nason (Brooklin, Ontario-Donald A. Wilson) redshirt sophomore Sabrina McNeill (Whitby, Ontario-Henry Street) were credited with assists.
