SILVER LAKE, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Firing a final round 312, the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team finished in a tie for seventh-place at the 2017 Mid-American Conference Championship with a three-day cumulative score of 954 (319-323-312). No. 15 Kent State University captured its 19th consecutive league title, finishing at 11-over 875 (289-298-288) on the par 72, 6,177 yard Silver Lake Country Club course.
EMU junior Thelma Beck (Baden, France-Lycee Sainte Anne) tied for seventh with a 12-over 228 (75-77-76) for her third top-10 finish of the 2016-17 campaign.
