Men's Basketball Breaks Seven-Game Skid with 84-68 Win over NIU

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team snapped a seven-game losing streak Saturday, Feb. 25, when it knocked off Northern Illinois University in decisive fashion at the Convocation Center. The Eagles (14-15, 6-10 MAC) led by as many as 21 before defeating the Huskies (15-14, 7-9 MAC), 84-68.

The Green and White was hot on both ends of the floor. As a team, Eastern Michigan shot 49.1 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from beyond the arc. Additionally, they were 21-of-28 from the charity stripe, good for a 75 percent. The Eagles assisted on 19 EMU basketballs, while picking NIU's pocket on 10 occasions.
