CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Mid-American Conference announced today, Oct. 18, that No. 14 Eastern Michigan University women's cross country junior Jordann McDermitt (Davison, Mich. - Davison) was named the MAC Runner of the Week for her performance at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, Oct. 15.
Like she's done all season, McDermitt excelled on the national stage, helping the Eagles to a seventh-place finish at the meet with a total of 255 points. The Green and White once again beat a ranked team, as then No. 22 Virginia fell to EMU.
