Lee Ping Tied for Seventh Headed into Final Round of Rio Verde

RIO VERDE, Ariz. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior women's golfer Karyn Lee Ping (Brampton, Ontario, Canada-St. Augustine Secondary School) carded a second round 72 to move up four spots into seventh-place heading into the final round of the Rio Verde Invitational at the par 72, 6,215-yard White Wing Golf Course, Feb. 27. Lee Ping opened the tournament with a 74 and has an overall tally of even-par 146 in the field of 96 golfers.

As a team, the Eagles are in a tie with Bradley University for fifth-place with a team day total of 600 (300-300).
