Eastern Tripped Up in Overtime by Toledo

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University soccer team was tripped up in overtime, 4-3, by the University of Toledo Thursday afternoon, Oct. 4, at Scicluna Field. Eastern Michigan (7-7-0, 2-3-0 MAC) held a 3-2 edge halfway through the second period, but Toledo (7-5-1, 3-2-0 MAC) prevailed with strikes in the 76th and 93rd minutes.

Redshirt sophomore Sabrina McNeill (Whitby, Ontario-Henry Street) and sophomore Madeline Olson (Libertyville, Ill.-Libertyville) each registered three points to pace EMU's offense. McNeill's three-point effort pushed her career total to 31, making her the second Eagle to join the 30-point club this season.
