BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics program had 18 student-athletes earn Academic All-American status for the 2020-21 year by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA), the office announced today, Aug. 11.
"I am extremely proud of the work this team puts into their academics," said Head Coach Katie Minasola "They are so focused in the classroom and take great pride in everything they do."
The team ranked 12th in the country out of the participating 75 institutions with a collective grade point average (GPA) of 3.7990. Only two Mid-American Conference programs ranked higher, with Northern Illinois coming in first (3.
