Eagles Close Out Strong First Day at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team got their outdoor season off to a great start today, March 25, with the first day of the Raleigh Relays. The Eagles had a small number of distance runners participate on the day.

The Green and White were represented by graduate student Joshua Sabo (Akron, Ohio – Revere) in the 1500m. Sabo managed to clock in at 3:52.87 to place 20th in a field of over 80 runners.

Running in the 5000m, redshirt sophomore Hlynur Andresson (Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland / Mountain Ridge) paced the team, crossing the finish line in a career-best 14:10.
