Eagles and Rodes Take Second Place at Windon Memorial

GLENVIEW, Ill. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team put the Windon Memorial in the books Monday, Sept. 26, when the squad put together 298 and finished with a team score of 868 which earned the Eagles a second place finish. The score put them at four-over as a team, finishing seven strokes behind the University of Florida, who won the tournament with an 861.

Kyle Rodes (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) led the way for Eastern shooting a two-under, 70, on Monday at North Shore Country Club. Rodes tied for second overall with a total score of 212 (76-66-60=212), good for four-under in three rounds.
