The Eastern Michigan trailed by seven going into the half as a 34 point second-half gave the Eagles the 53-49 victory over the Ohio Bobcats in Athens, Ohio on Saturday.
Senior Ty Toney led the way for the Eagles with 17 points while hitting 54 percent of his shots. Toney also collected four rebounds, three assists as well as three steals in his 37 min. on the floor.
EMU hit 40 percent of its shots while the Bobcats hit only 30 percent. The Eagles had a slight edge when it came to boards as the team compiled 36 to the 35 by Ohio.
