The East Carolina women’s tennis team and Head Coach Tom Morris announced that Sofia Anthony and Victoria Dixon have committed to play tennis for ECU.
“Both Sofia and Victoria are ranked in the top-10 in North Carolina for this year’s (2017) recruiting class, who were both solid student athletes.” Morris said.
Anthony, who is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, played for Sanderson High School where she earned all-state doubles honors in 2015 and 2016. She ranks No. 10 in her recruiting class and has ranked as high as No. 101 in the Southeast and No. 364 in the nation, according to Tennis Recruiting.
