Making jaw-dropping plays is nothing new for B.J. Tyson.
Tyson’s latest highlight, a high-flying, one-handed dunk during East Carolina’s 78-73 victory over UNC Wilmington on Wednesday, came in at No. 5 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays of the day and it was shared all over social media during and after the Pirates (7-4) improved to 6-0 in Minges Coliseum this season.
ECU coach Jeff Lebo admitted that, even though he sees Tyson’s athletic exploits often in practices and games, he is still sometimes amazed at what the 6-foot-3 sophomore guard can do.
