Rick Ware Racing announced Sunday that East Carolina University will serve as its primary partner for three races this year, starting with Sunday’s AAA Drive for Autism 400 at Dover International Speedway in Delaware.
The partnership is part of a strategy to educate universities on the marketing abilities of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
"This is a marketing program that allows universities and their supporters the opportunity to experience the many hands-on sectors that a NASCAR team has to offer,” RWR marketing director Bryan Clodfelter said in a press release. “We couldn't be happier having East Carolina University join us for three race(s) and we are eager to unload this great looking race car at Dover.
