Clark and Wakefield dominated from the start, scoring the team’s first 10 points. The last time the two teams met, Wakefield and Clark scored 24 and 20 respectively.
After the first quarter ECU employed a defensive strategy designed around stopping Clark, and it worked as she was held scoreless in the second quarter and to only two points in the third. The senior was getting good looks but was failing to convert.
