Hart will provide operational and strategic guidance to the chancellor relating to athletic affairs. His most notable assignment will be leading the the search for the next head coach of the men’s basketball team.
“I feel honored to be in a position to assist East Carolina University in the role of a special advisor to Chancellor Staton on athletics matters,” Hart said in the release.
