DES MOINES, Iowa – Construction continues on the Bright-Beckwith Boathouse at Prospect Park that will serve as the new home of the Drake University rowing program.
The outside walls of the structure are up, the large bay doors are installed and the flooring in the building is complete. Crews are installing the building's electrical system, the ventilation system, and plumbing. The interior walls are being placed as the team's locker room, team room and kitchen are taking shape.
Follow the progress of the Bright-Beckwith Boathouse all summer on www.GoDrakeBulldogs.com. The boathouse is anticipated to be finished in time for the fall season for the program.
