VIRUM, Denmark – Former Drake University women's basketball standout Caitlin Ingle has signed a contract with professional team, Virum GoDream, of the Danish Dameligaen League. Ingle from Runnells, Iowa will depart for Denmark in mid-August and the Dameligaen regular season schedule runs from September to late April. She is the first former Bulldog to ink a professional deal since Kristin Turk played in Sweden in 2011-12.
"Every kid dreams to be a professional athlete growing up and I am blessed to continue playing basketball," said Ingle. "I am excited to go overseas and experience a new culture and leave my comfort zone of Des Moines.
