ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Drake University football team had eight student-athletes selected to the 2016 Academic All-PFL teams, the league office announced Wednesday.
For the second-straight year, senior Keegan Gallery earned first-team honors. He is an international business major with a 3.64 grade-point average and recorded 45 receptions for 481 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Fifth-year senior Aaron Melton, senior Tanner Evans and junior Nathan Clayberg made their first appearance on the first-team list. Melton, who was named first-team All-PFL earlier this week, holds a 3.
