High school athletes across Iowa have recorded 229 (128 girls, 101 boys) Blue Standard performances so far to guarantee their spot in the 2022 Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom. The deadline for Blue Standards to be achieved is the same as when high school entries close on Friday, April 22 at 8 a.m. The final high school start lists will be published by noon on Saturday, April 23.

The Blue Standards are known as the qualifying marks that guarantee acceptance for Iowa high schoolers in the Drake Relays when entered in the meet.
