Tigers Prospect Daily: Wynton Bernard's 20-game hit streak snapped

Tim Melville had another subpar outing for the Mud Hens and the bullpen wasn't able to pick up the slack, dropping them to 2-10 in the month of May. Melville allowed four runs on eight hits in five innings, but was spared the loss thanks to a four-run fourth inning from the Mud Hens' offense. Righthander Jose Valdez allowed a pair of runs in the sixth to give the Bisons their final cushion. The Mud Hens only had two hits outside of the fourth inning, and were 2-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
