CHICAGO -- When Ian Kinsler's hamstring flared up yet again on Friday night, Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus decided that it was time to stop postponing the inevitable.
"We just made a decision that we need to get rid of this thing once and for all," Ausmus said. "We can't let this thing linger and linger. We need to DL him, rest him, get treatment for 10 days and hopefully it's behind us for the rest of the season."
