Tigers glad Steven Moya more confident, less cautious in right field

TAMPA, Fla. -- Steven Moya had the opportunity to make two nice plays in right field on Tuesday.

Instead, he went 0-for-2.

That's the bad news.

Daniel Norris frustrated but not fretting after 1st spring start

Early-spring command problems plagued several Detroit Tigers' pitchers in a 9-5 loss to the New York Yankees.

The good news, Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said, is that Moya isn't being overly cautious defensively, scared to make a mistake, as he was at times in 2016.

Moya charged a line drive early in the game, but pulled up as it became clear he wouldn't catch it.
