PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- When he was plunked by a pitch Saturday, Miguel Cabrera didn't ask for or receive a pinch-runner.

In fact, he stayed in the game several more innings, accumulating three at-bats in the Detroit Tigers' win over the Houston Astros.
