Looking to get that run back, the Tigers needed a good start to the home half of the first against Corey Kluber.
Ian Kinsler did just that, smacking a double to the left field fence which was about three feet short of a home run. Nicholas Castellanos couldn't move him over, though, as he grounded out to second base.
Miguel Cabrera made good contact, but the wind seemed to bat the ball down and died at the warning track. Kinsler tagged up and moved over to third with two outs.
