ORLANDO, Fla. -- Miguel Cabrera must pay attorney fees and monthly temporary child support to his former mistress with whom he fathered two children, a judge ruled this week.
Orange Country Circuit Judge Alan S. Apte granted Belkis Mariela Rodriguez's motion for temporary relief after a hearing on Monday. The final ruling in the case could still be months away.
Rodriguez was seeking $20,000 in monthly child support. The court minutes did not indicate how much Apte awarded.
He said Cabrera must make the payments by the final business day of each month. The attorney fees are due at the end of March.
