DETROIT -- After the Detroit Tigers took an early 1-0 lead thanks to an RBI single by Miguel Cabrera, Anibal Sanchez blew away the lead by allowing a career-high nine runs and he failed to make it out of the fourth inning. The Tigers lost to the Chicago White Sox 12-3, taking their second loss of 2015, handing Detroit a 9-2 record to start the year. J.D. Martinez hit a solo home run in the fourth, but it did nothing to eat away at Chicago's sizable lead.
From the beginning it was easy to see that Sanchez was not sharp.
