Nick Castellanos opened the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning to give the Tigers an early 1- 0 lead. Victor Martinez and J.D. Martinez hit back to back solo home runs in the fourth inning to make it 3- 0. J.D. followed that with a monster shot over the center field fence.
