Detroit 1, Oakland 0. Price and Tigers bullpen combine to shut out A's.

OAKLAND -- David Price shut out the Oakland A's for seven innings, scattering five hits, as the Tigers snapped a three game losing streak with a 1- 0 victory in Oakland.

Anthony Gose led off the game with a single, stole second, advanced to third on a throwing error by catcher Josh Phegley, and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Rajai Davis with what would be the only run of the game.

Oakland starter, Jesse Chavez, went eight innings, allowing the Tigers just five hits, striking out four.
