Sunday afternoon, it was very good.
Athanasiou, whose ancestors hailed from Greece - hence the "Greased Lightning" accompaniment - scored on a breakaway 1:52 into overtime to give the Detroit Red Wings a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild.

Athanasiou faked goaltender Devan Dubnyk to the right, Dubnyk bit and was left sprawling on the ice as Athanasiou skated around him before depositing the puck into the empty half of the net for his 17th goal of the season.
