If you go to Meijer in the next few weeks, you just might see some hockey going on in the parking lot.
The Detroit Red Wings organization is announcing its third annual Street Hockey Summer Tour, presented by Meijer. The tour will make stops at eight different Meijer locations throughout the state to offer free street hockey clinics for ages 7-12.
The tour is open to children of all skill levels and hockey experience. Each session will feature a one-hour clinic, followed by a 30-minute pickup street hockey game. The clinics will be instructed by Red Wings representatives and local hockey players and coaches.
